Summer is officially here!

Well, at least in my book. Today I had my weekly radio program and I was sweating profusely in the unventilated room while eating lunch w/ my students as they seemed fine in the sauna of a room. Um, why don't Japanese people ever sweat?! What is this mutant gene in them that allows them to not do so?! Anyway, this is why I say summer has arrived. Summers in Asia are humid humid and oh yeah, humid. I first experienced this in Singapore and was taken aback at just how much one can sweat by merely existing. Anyway, I can feel it....the humidity is rising, I will be sweaty and disgusting, and all the teachers and students will look great as I arrive in the morning with my drenched, sweaty clothes. Gross! Ugh....time to switch to complaining about the heat instead of the cold now. Baaah!!
