All Things Chinese
K, so I've been really into anything China-related ever since our trip. It's as if I've discovered a country that's never existed before! Haha. Anyhoo, I've been learning some interesting stuff from people, and from the web. Apparently, my father is from the "Ng" village in Guangdong, China, where all 600-800 residents have the last name, "Ng," and are somehow related! My dad is already the 14th generation "Ng" from the village! Fascinating! Also, there are two other "Ng" villages nearby, totaling 1000 to 2000 people. Can you imagine how hard it'd be to distinguish one person from the next within the villages? Like, "I'm looking for 'Bob Ng.'"

Hee hee, perhaps you should also explain that they track their genealogy so you are not inbred ;)
P.S. Yeah, China rocks! Let's leave this craphole and go there! :)
Yeah, plus my dad met my mom in Hong Kong, and she's a "Hui." Woot. Alice Hui, that is. Haha. My dad's name has changed from Vincent to Raymond to who knows what now. It's not on any of his documents so he just makes up new ones along the way! Hahaha.
